David Mohammed Khan is a seasoned Civil and Water Resources Engineer with over 25 years of professional experience in urban drainage, flood risk management, stormwater modeling, sewerage systems, and climate-resilient infrastructure planning. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering (BUET), MS in Civil Engineering (Texas A&M University, USA), and an Executive MBA (IBA, University of Dhaka).
He has extensive project leadership and coordination experience in Bangladesh, USA, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, and Canada, working with development partners such as World Bank, ADB, UNICEF, and the European Commission. His portfolio includes the planning, design, and supervision of large-scale drainage, sewerage, and water supply systems, as well as master planning and flood mitigation studies.
Mr. Khan has served in senior technical and management positions, including Project Coordinator, Team Leader, Design Manager, and Senior Civil Engineer, delivering multi-disciplinary projects in both urban and rural contexts. His work combines advanced hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (e.g., MIKE FLOOD, MIKE URBAN, HEC-RAS) with policy and institutional advisory roles, ensuring integrated, climate-adaptive solutions.
